9 pieces of vinyl, 5 x double-sided 24″ x 12″ posters, 5 CDs, and a 36 page book. 2 classic albums on vinyl for the first time. 1 entire album of unreleased versions. Bags of bonus material. No stone has been left unturned in our efforts to comprehensively document this period of African Head Charge history!

If you already own Songs Of Praise and In Pursuit Of Shashamane Land on vinyl then they’re expanded here to double LPs with all the bonus tracks from previous CD editions plus unreleased rarities.

Vision Of A Psychedelic Africa and Voodoo Of The Godsent are both issued on wax for the first time, cut by the legendary Kevin Metcalfe across 4 sides each for maximum frequency response.

Churchical Chant Of The Iyabinghi is a brand new LP of unreleased versions, the companion to 2016’s Return Of The Crocodile and Super Mystic Brakes records which explored the studio reels of AHC’s early years. Lovingly compiled by On-U tape archivist Patrick Dokter, it features one side of outtakes from 1993’s In Pursuit Of Shashamane Land and one side of outtakes from 1990’s Songs Of Praise.

We also conducted a brand new interview with African Head Charge bandleader Bonjo Iyabinghi Noah in Summer 2018 in which he tells the story of his life in music, which is spread over the 5 vinyl posters and compiled together in the 36-page book included in the Drumming Is A Language 5CD boxset.
